panoramap : an interactive panorama in HTML5

Intuitive panorama with 2D radar map in canvas/HTML5, it's here : panoramap. Move whether the mouse on the map and watch corresponding view, or move mouse on panoramic view to rotate and watch angle view.
It is inspired by a java applet and written from scratch in javascript and canvas, and is finally faster than original and no need to load heavy java plugin. Would be better is you have a perfect top view (no this case in this sample). You can go on Ingapirca website to see it in action.

fullscreen background images fading effect with javascript

There is a bunch of javascript to fade from one image to another, but no one found to smoothly change whole background. Here's a way to do this :

It gives rather nice effect with fullscreen images.
You can download & configure it as you like with your own images... :)
